If we were having coffee together, I would tell you that my wedding anniversary is on Valentine’s Day. I wanted to share this song with you because it is so appropriate for how I am feeling right now.
You see my wife passed away just shy of 11 years ago. The song, Sleeping to Dream (about her) by Jason Mraz, is shared as a tribute to my wife and the love I have for her.
Exploring Spirituality Beyond Religion 
I’m sure this time of year is difficult or bittersweet at best. Great song to use as a tribute.

Trent thanks for taking the time to like and comment as you do on so many of the coffee share entries. We all appreciate your engagement in the blog community. It seems like the song Sleeping to Dream may serve a great many of the widows and widowers found in the blogosphere.
Perhaps needless to say, I love the song. I heard on Pandora and immediately set to share it in a blog because it was so meaningful for me at that moment.

I am sorry to hear of your wife’s passing. My mom passed just over 11 years ago and each year brings new and different levels of awareness and healing. Though the love for a spouse is different than that for a parent, I’d guess your healing and process has evolved much like mine. Be kind to yourself, practice self-care, and find solace in your wife’s peace.

I know how you feel, Blair. Ironically my husband, Mick (real name Blair) passed away 2 years ago just before Christmas. Valentine’s is always a bittersweet time. That is a lovely song indeed.
